ACHIEVEMENTS
Milestones worth recognizing, kept in perspective.
Qualifications, medals and competition results matter. The development that produces them matters just as much.
SELECTED MILESTONES
Achievement is evidence of work over time.
The academy recognizes competitive milestones without making the website a trophy display.
National qualification, state and Junior Olympic results, medals and other competitive milestones can mark meaningful progress. They sit alongside less visible gains: stronger preparation, better judgment, technical independence and the ability to respond constructively when a match does not go as planned.
Today, approximately 10–15 rifle athletes and 10–15 pistol athletes from the academy qualify for national-level competition, representing TSS and Texas at events across the country.

WHAT WE CHOOSE TO SHOW
Results with context.
Qualification
Reaching a Junior Olympic or national-level event is a milestone because it reflects both performance and sustained preparation.
Competition results
Medals and placements are recognized where they help document athlete progress and the academy’s competitive pathway.
Development over time
The larger story includes what the athlete learned between milestones and how much more of the process they can understand and manage independently.
The medals are milestones. The development between them is the larger story.
